The future success of agricultural bio-inputs in Venezuela will depend on the progress of research, the management of innovative companies, their efficient commercialization, together with education and updating farmers. To contribute to the growth and development of this bioindustry, we have thought it is appropriate to promote a series of meetings with researchers, academics, and professionals from the public and private sectors, to explore ways and actions to encourage, promote and disseminate the use of bio-inputs.
El gran reto del nuevo modelo agrícola es impulsar el desarrollo sostenible de la pequeña y mediana agricultura, cuya contribución a la seguridad alimentaria y nutricional de los territorios rurales es determinante, pero donde se continúan aplicando prácticas agrícolas ineficientes y ambientalmente insostenibles, especialmente en las zonas montañosas.
